Tasting note:
The wine presents a striking, sustained color adorned with vibrant purple reflections, inviting the eye with its richness.
It unveils a fine and expressive bouquet on the nose, showcasing a harmonious blend of ripe red and black fruits, including luscious cherries and deep blackberries. These fruity notes are beautifully complemented by essences of warm spices, hints of garrigue, aromatic herbs typical of the Mediterranean landscape, and subtle touches of sweet licorice that add complexity.
The wine offers a remarkable interplay of fullness and elegance on the palate. The texture is velvety, with melted tannins that provide a smooth mouthfeel while preserving a lively freshness that enlivens the senses. The finish, a testament to the wine's value, is long-lasting, leaving a memorable imprint inviting another sip, epitomizing richness and balance.
Winemaking: The grapes are destemmed and sorted manually and then placed in a vat. Vatting lasts approximately 3 weeks, characteristic seated by a gentle extraction developing the complexity aromatic. The post-fermentation maceration work is carried out based on daily juice tastings. Some plots are vinified in whole clusters with the ageing of juices in barrels directly after devatting.
Ageing: 40% of the juice is aged in barrels between 12 and 18 months
