The Chateau Fontaine de l'Aubier is located in the communes of Prignac and Lesparre.
It has belonged to the Fauchey family (Château L'Inclassable) since 1952.
Seven hectares on two soils, one clay-limestone and the other clay-loamy.
Grapes: The blend is 50% Cabernet Sauvignon and 50% Merlot, Alcohol 13% volume.

The aroma is potent, with hints of wild black fruits.
The taste is well-balanced, with a great concentration of flavors and a smooth, elegant finish. The toasted flavor is subtle yet delightful, and the tannins are mature, silky, and still prominent. Overall, this wine offers finesse and a sustained length on the palate.
For optimal enjoyment, serve this wine at a temperature between 16°C and 18°C. It pairs well with white meat in sauce, grilled or roasted red meat, poultry, game, grilled fish, and cheeses.
Winemaking: After manual harvesting, extended maceration, and vinification in thermo-regulated vats, this cuvée is aged 12 months in oak barrels.
