The MOURAT family, present since 1880 in the Lands of Vendée, under the leadership of Jérémie MOURAT, will acquire their estate, Chateau Marie du Fou, right away, buying from the TAITTINGER family a very beautiful terroir buried under brambles and brooms. They reconstituted Clos Saint-André according to the geopedology of the place and respecting the values of the Fiefs Vendéens Mareuil appellation, located at the southern tip of the Loire. The estate is located on a 9-hectare hillside, which offers an exceptional panorama of the Poitevin marsh and the Luçon plain, which it dominates. Therefore, draft horses have plowed, shod, and unshod vines since 2009.
