History: The Mourat winery was created in 1974 to purchase the Chateau Marie de Fou estate by Jérémie Mourat's father. Jérémie, a dynamic young winemaker, took over for his father in 2000 and steadily raised the profile of their region, the Fiefs Vendéens.

Jérémie acquired Le Moulin Blanc vineyard in 2011. Since then, he has beautifully restored the impressive white windmill, which now spins gracefully above the 15-hectare property in the Lay and the Yon valleys. Le Moulin Blanc boasts two exquisite wines - a delightful Pinot Noir and an intriguing Blanc de Noirs made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes.
