Pouilly-Fuisse Domaine du Chalet Pouilly AOC

Domaine du Chalet Pouilly Pouilly-Fuissé 2022 is a dry 100% Chardonnay with a golden color and green glints that bring a mineral bouquet of nice floral touches.

Its significant presence in the mouth reinforces fullness, power, and coolness that perfectly harmonize.

The flavors are often on the floral tone of hawthorn with a hint of fresh hazelnuts. Alcohol is 13% of the volume.

It aged nine months in French oak barrels (25% new barrels).

Terroir: Limestone, clay. The oldest vines, 77 years old planted in 1945.

Food pairing: enjoy it as an appetizer. Pouilly-Fuissé goes well with seafood (grilled lobster), quenelle, fish (pikeperch, salmon, Saint-Pierre, sole, and more), white meats (roasted pork), poultry (chicken in the salted crust), andouillettes, and cheeses (saint-nectaire, charolle, comté and more).

Keep this wine in a cool place; depending on the vintage, it can be aged from 5 to 10 years. Serve chilled at 14°C.

Domaine du Chalet Pouilly Pouilly-Fuisse the constant success Chardonnay.

Here are the keys to tremendous success:

  • Domaine produces only 50,000 bottles. 85% of the product is exported to 20 countries. The demand is very high, and it delivers top quality at an affordable price each year.
  • The Plumet family has lived in the small Mâconnais village of Solutré Pouilly for over a century. Living in Burgundy, a region well known for its wines, they developed a strong interest and passion for wine like most neighbors.
  • Domaine du Chalet Pouilly practices viticulture methods that focus on respecting terroir. Minimal intervention during ripening is often challenging but rewarding simultaneously as it develops these wines' unique flavors and aromas.

Domaine du Chalet Pouilly is certified HVE (High Environmental Value) and Vegan.
