This amazing white wine blends five different grape varieties and tastes unique. With 40% Viognier, it has a full-bodied texture and lovely hints of peach and apricot aromas. Elegant and floral, well balanced, good sense of finesse. A lovely silky touch on the palate and no oak getting in the way of the intense melon and pear flavors. Very classic for a Villages white – all about fruit and flowers, and authentically Rhône, really lifted and joyful. Drink young. All are handpicked from 50-year-old vines, a blend based mainly on Viognier and Clairette with Bourboulenc and others. Drinking Window: 2023 - 2025.

This tastes well and sustains a nicely compact richness into a tangy, touch-tannic aftertaste, with a further note of lemon-citrus on the aftertaste. It has enough depth for la table; I note its late nuttiness that will accompany well a good Brie de Meaux, Camembert, for example. It carries enjoyable oiliness and has a true Southern tone.
