This particular Sancerre red wine is made entirely from Pinot Noir grapes. It is a limited edition, accounting for only approximately 10% of the total wine production from Domaine Jean Thomas & Fils.
 
TASTING NOTES: The deep red wine bursts with ripe raspberry and black cherry flavors. It has a smooth and elegant palate with silky tannins. This wine is ready to drink now but can age gracefully for up to a decade. The alcohol content is 13.5% of the volume.
 
For those interested in food pairing, this Pinot Noir is a fantastic choice to complement red meat, wild game, and, let's not forget, cheese.
For optimal enjoyment, it is recommended to serve the Terres Blanches at a temperature of 16°C.
 
IN EVERY SOIL, ITS AROMAS
 
Terroir: Clay and limestone hillsides in Verdigny.
 
Biodynamic: Soils work according to the lunar cycle. Natural and respectful treatments (cobber, sulfur, essential oils, plants).
 
Harvesting: by hands, yielding: 40 HL. Wine-Making: Manual sorting.
Maceration in the tank for 15 à 20 days. Alcoholic fermentation occurs with the natural yeasts present on grapes' skin.
 
Aging: malolactic fermentation comes naturally during the 12 months of aging in oak barrels. The wine is bottled without fining and filtration.
